Library Hours:
The Library's Winter term hours begin January 2, 2023. Members of the public can access the library, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. See our hours page for more information.
Study Rooms:
Group study rooms continue to be booked online. Group study rooms may be booked and used ONLY by current students at the Faculty of Law.
Electronic Resources and eBooks:
The Law Library subscribes to a significant number of legal databases. In addition to these databases, we have purchased access to a large number of eBooks published by Irwin Law, Edward Elgar, LexisNexis, and Thomson Reuters, and we recently acquired access to approximately 60 titles from the Emond Publishing Casebook collection. You can check the online availability of the Winter term's course readings here.
The Print Collection:
Our print collection, including Course Reserves and Stacks, can be borrowed by those in the Faculty of Law and the rest of the U of T community. Books in Course Reserves can be borrowed at our Circulation Desk; please see our second term course reading lists for the titles and call numbers (list is also available at the Circulation Desk). Some of these books are also available online.
Reference and Research Support
Our reference desk is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm. Law Librarians are available to provide reference and research support in-person or remotely by phone, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or email. Please contact them directly or through law.ref@utoronto.ca.
