Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD)

APWLD is a regional NGO based in Thailand that is committed to enabling women to use law as an instrument of social change for equality, justice and development. The organization also has consultative status with ECOSOC. Drawing on basic human rights principles enshrined in the various relevant international and regional human rights instruments, APWLD seeks to promote its programme's objectives.
