This community-based research paper seeks to document the situation of Filipino mail-order brides in Canada. The paper begins with a short literature review and then examines the global and historical context of the migration of Filipino women to Canada, documenting the experiences of Filipino women in Canada and other countries. Personal experiences of Filipino mail-order brides in Canada are also recounted.
