Jack Woodward, Q.C., is a Canadian lawyer, author, legal scholar, businessman and farmer. Mr. Woodward has practiced law since 1979, primarily in the areas of Aboriginal law and environmental law. He has represented more than a hundred First Nations groups and organizations in a wide variety of cases, including the groundbreaking Tsilhqot’in Nation case, the first successful Aboriginal title claim in Canada. Mr. Woodward founded Victoria law firm Woodward and Company in 1988. He was also an Instructor and Adjunct Professor of Law for sixteen years, and developed the University of Victoria’s first credit course in Aboriginal law.
