This British non-profit organization was established in 1996 to promote awareness and understanding of the problems encountered by widows in developing countries and post-conflict areas, promote the status of widows' rights on the international human rights agenda, and assist organizations in developing countries which support widows in fighting for their rights. The website includes personal accounts of widows from around the world, reports on the organization's work with widows, and thrice-yearly newsletters outlining developments in widows' rights by continent.
