This Report forms part of a series of four
Reports on various aspects of women and
migration. The report continues the work on
trafficking introduced in the 2004 Berlin
Interim Report. The main focus of the report is
on the legal framework of women's international
labor migration. The author references the
Workers Convention, international human rights
and labor law conventions. The Report discusses
the legal and gendered aspects of of female
migrant workers' mobility in relation to their
migration status, and advocates for a rights
based approach to international migration.
