This Canadian-based organization was established to ensure that human rights protections in housing are effective for low income households and to address both systemic and individual access issues. CERA has become a leading advocate for social and economic rights both in Canada and internationally and works both at both the national and the international level to advance these rights. The website includes a section on women's rights which contains links to resources on this issue. The organization has also issued a resolution on Women's Equal Enjoyment to the Right to Adequate Housing which is also available on the website.

Established in 1994 and based in the Netherlands, the mandate of the Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions (COHRE) is to advocate for economic, social and cultural rights in a global context, with particular emphasis on the right to adequate housing. Some of COHRE's main actvities include legal advocacy and training, research and publications, monitoring, and prevention of forced evictions. The extensive resources available on this website include databases concerning litigation on housing rights and guidelines for utilizing the mechanisms of the United Nations. The site also includes a section entitled Women and Housing Rights, with research papers available and information on a list-serve focused on women and forced evictions.

Habitat International Coalition (HCI) is a global network of organizations and individuals working in the areas of human settlement and of ensuring rights to a secure living. Their activities include intervening at United Nations treaty bodies to define the right to housing, promoting public awareness and information exchanges about housing, advocating for the rights of the homeless and the poor, and organizing campaigns, seminars and publications. There is a specific section of the website devoted to Women and Adequate Housing which contains links to resources on gender equality, adequate housing and violence, women in the city, and women's housing rights under the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR).

Habitat's activities focus on promoting housing for all, improving urban governance, reducing urban poverty, improving the living environment, and managing disaster mitigation and post-conflict rehabilitation. One particular area of focus, addressed using a human rights framewor, is housing. This web site contains an extensive collection of information on UN-HABITAT campaigns and activities, and publications. Many of these resources address the particular challenges facing women in accessing their housing rights.
